RAF Cosford Air Show 2008
Sunday 1st June 2008

RAF Cosford Air Show is the Midlands premier air event. The world-famous
Royal Air
Force Aerobatics Team - The Red Arrows – can be seen at the Show along with
aircraft from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Current combat aircraft
from the RAF, along with international participants, are also being lined up.
There will be non-stop entertainment on the ground with hundreds of exhibits,
colourful stalls and trade stands, military demonstrations and road shows – plus
food, craft fair, bands, children’s entertainment and much more. All of this
makes the air show an attractive day out for all ages and interests from
aviation enthusiasts to families seeking a fun day out.
The RAF Museum’s full facilities, including the new National Cold War
Exhibition, will be open which further enhances the breadth of entertainment and
interest provided by the Air Show.
Cosford is served by a regular train service to a station alongside the RAF base
and combined rail and admission tickets can be purchased from Arriva Trains
Wales. There is also ample free car parking available on the airfield on the
