Typhoon Roars into May Air Show at Duxford
The RAF’s latest, state-of-the-art aircraft will be one of the stars of the
Show at the Imperial War Museum Duxford’s Spring Air Show on Sunday 18 May. The
Typhoon is just one of the many aircraft which will appear at the show,
thrilling spectators with a non-stop exciting display of over 3 hours. Alongside
the Typhoon will be a huge variety of aircraft from the Spitfire and Hurricane
fighters of yesteryear through to some of the early jets and other combat
aircraft.

Cosford Airshow 2008
Preview
The world-famous Royal Air Force Aerobatics Team - The Red Arrows – can be
seen at the Show along with aircraft from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Current combat aircraft from the RAF, along with international participants, are

Audi R8 goes from 0 to Victory in 15,000 votes
Germany’s hottest export claims title in ‘MSN CARs car of the year’ epic

British motoring
enthusiasts have put the brakes on Ferrari and BMW today by naming the German
Audi R8 as ‘MSN Cars Car of the Year’. The online poll,
available at cars.uk.msn.com, saw 42% of voters choose the German supercar ahead
of Ferrari’s 430 Scuderia (13%) and BMW’s M3 (11%), firmly placing the Audi R8
as the most desired vehicle for 2008.
