Forget Beckham - footy-mad girls in Birmingham can learn how to 'Bend it Like
Exley' in an exclusive competition! jamjar cars (www.jamjar.com), the UK's
leading internet-based car retailer, is offering budding female footballers the
chance to be coached by England star Vicky Exley in an exclusive Football
Masterclass.
To celebrate the fact that England is hosting the UEFA European Women's
Championships for the very first time in just four weeks, jamjar has teamed up
with midfielder Vicky to offer 10 local girls a place on the 'Girls Only
Football Masterclass' in Birmingham on Sunday May 8th.
During the event, Vicky will coach the lucky winners, teach the tricks of her
trade and show off the skills that have made her a regular in the England
Women's side. Every winner will also receive tickets for the forthcoming
Championships, where Vicky will be looking to help England win the coveted
trophy on home soil!
Girls aged 7-14 can enter the competition via the jamjar cars website (www.jamjar.com
) by simply stating why they should win a place on the Masterclass, which will
be held at Powerleague, Birmingham. Closing date for the competition is
Wednesday May 4th.
Vicky Exley, midfielder, England Ladies says:
"Women's football is really taking off in this country and is set to get even
bigger when the European Championships kick off in Manchester in a few weeks.
It's great that jamjar is offering local girls the chance to attend these
training sessions - I'm looking forward to meeting them and passing on a few of
the things I've learned over the years. Who knows - I may end up coaching
England Ladies' stars of the future!"
